How Taki Pets started
Taki Pets began from a custom creation of freeze-dried human grade salmon from NUDE Seafood, a restaurant chain owned by the co-founders of Taki Pets, for the pet shiba of one of the co-founders. Taki’s love for this creation eventually led to the founding of Taki Pets, a project of love to produce food out of 100% premium human-grade protein to ensure that other beloved furkids like Taki get the best food that can be made available for them.

With their philosophy of “My furkid eats better than me”, Taki’s products are manufactured in small batches in-house in Singapore and are AVS licensed. Human kitchen hygiene standards and practices in place to ensure sanitary and clean products for your furkid, while minimal processing ensures the best ingredients can be used while keeping their products fairly priced at the ‘affordable luxury’ level.
New collection of premium beef products
The ‘Furkid Steakhouse’ collection consists of products made of premium, restaurant-grade i ngredients that are freshly made in Singapore. All raw ingredients have full traceability, and they have been sourced from proper channels that are safe even for human consumption if needed! Furthermore, beef as the ingredient in this collection provides nutrient-dense protein for your furkids which is good for the immune system, heart, energy level, skin and coat.
The collection offers five products, with three different types of beef are featured in the Wagyu Steak, Sanchoku Wagyu Cubes and Aberdeen Angus and another unique part of beef being used in the New Zealand Beef Liver Cubes. For those who can’t decide between the attractive options, they can always opt for the Beef Box which features three of the four products mentioned before.
Wagyu Steak
Wagyu Steak is Taki’s best seller and definitely ranks as their signature product which you can’t miss out on! Wagyu beef contains a higher percentage of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids than other types of beef along with monounsaturated fats, leading to a softer texture and more flavour with each bite for your furkid.
