As the year draws to a close, people often come together to usher in the new year with our loved ones. Some throw huge, lavish feasts, some watch spectacular visual displays, while others simply spend want to spend quality time with one another. You and your pets — furry, feathery, scaly, or slimy — can have an equally exciting day of year-end festivities as well at Pets Pawty on 31st December!
With the aim to bring together a community of pet-lovers, Pets Pawty is held in conjunction with Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020. Featuring a slew of pet-friendly activities, pet lovers will also be able to enjoy a fireworks display from the event grounds as they countdown together towards the year ahead!
A day of prizes, giveaways, and fun!
Starting from 4pm, your beloved pets can expect activities such as free-play areas to roam around in. Competitive fur-iends can even take part in agility courses, obstacle races, temptation trials, obedience challenges, and a frisbee competition, where your pets will be able to win tons of attractive prizes from Shaggy Wagon, Floof, Howlistic life, and more!

Even if you’re not one to run about, the event features an all-day picnic area for you and your beloved pets to eat, drink, and relax together on the lush grass. Do remember to bring your own picnic mats!
Attendees can even keep a lookout for opportunities to meet some very special feathered friends and whiskered pals from SG Polish Chicken from 5pm – 7pm (@sgpolishchicken) and Persian Meowdols from 7pm – 9pm (@bambam.bella.emma.lola) in the flesh!

Feeling peckish? Don’t worry if you didn’t bring any food to the pawty! There’s a plethora of peripheral events where you can grab some grub, such as Unwind @ Civic District: Eats & Beats. Regardless of your interests, Marina Bay is Singapore’s hotbed of countdown festivals and activities, so there is bound to be something for everyone.
Make sure to stay on to catch the sporadic bursts of fireworks starting from 10.30pm as well! At midnight, the spectacular fireworks show from the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2020 will commence.
Note: The noise and unpredictability of fireworks may cause unease in your pets. Only allow your pet to view the fireworks if you’re certain that it will not get frightened!
