The fashion world was dealt a blow earlier this year when top designer Karl Lagerfeld passed away, but no one’s world was shaken more than his precious cat, Choupette. Given to Lagerfeld as a gift in 2011, the beautiful feline quickly gained a strong following on her Twitter and Instagram accounts as well as her blog, Choupette’s Diary. In addition to working with several makeup and fashion campaigns, the kitty has also inherited his immense wealth, making her one of the wealthiest pets in the world
Choupette’s RIP Daddy Collection is a wide range of products including apparel and accessories featuring an illustration of a veiled Choupette in Lagerfeld’s signature dark sunglasses, white shirt and black tie. The collection is in commemoration of the late Lagerfeld and a way for his and her fans to show their support. Proceeds from the sales of the RIP Daddy Collection will be donated to Helen Woodward Animal Center, a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to providing aid to animals as well as enabling better human-animal relationships.

The collection introduces men’s and women’s tee shirts made from 100% combed ring-spun cotton and a side-seamed finish with shoulder-to-shoulder taping. The women’s version also comes with a classic semi-contoured silhouette and a seamed collarette, as well as double-needle stitched sleeves and bottom hem.
