Thought to be missing by his family, Capitán the Alastian was found by his late owner Migue Guzmán’s grave.

Guzmán had passed in a hospital and was taken to a funeral home located a distance from his house. Despite never having stepped foot in the cemetery, Capitán was spotted wandering through the mausoleum before locating his owner’s grave. Since then, the loyal companion will appear at 6 pm every day, before eventually passing on eleven years later.

Zander, an adopted samoyed-husky mix, showed the world just how deep his love runs for his owner, John Dolan.

Due to a skin condition, Dolan was admitted to the hospital approximately 3km away from the house. During his absence, Zander was observed to be moping for Dolan, before eventually making the trip to the hospital himself. By following Dolan’s scent, Zander made his way successfully across busy roads and a stream before arriving at the hospital.

A staff had noticed Zander and it was only by calling the number of his tag did he notice that John was admitted in the very same hospital. Thankfully, Zander is reunited with his owner and is now safely home

The blessing in disguise Man's Best Friend: 5 Heartwarming Dog TalesSource: Chelsea Dogs

Despite being under her care for as short as four days, RaeLee, soon became a blessing in disguise for Yolanda Sevogia and her family.

RaeLee was found by Sevogia’s neighbour, Stacey Savige but kept under the care of Yolanda’s family while the search of RaeLee’s original owner was underway. Before accepting the dog, Yolanda had told her children, Azaiah and Christian, to avoid getting too attached to the dog.

However, things took a turn when RaeLee saved Christian’s life. One day upon her arrival, RaeLee was behaving frantically and barking madly at Yolanda while sprinting to the boys’ room. There, she found Christian, in the middle of a seizure. As soon as Yolanda kneeled over to help Christian, RaeLee stood silent, making RaeLee a true blue hero.

The hero

Adopted six years ago, Duke has been with the Brosseau family ever since. Growing up, he was always an extremely obedient pup. It was only until the particular night did he jump onto Brosseaus’ bed whilst shaking violently.

Puzzled by his odd behaviour, the Brosseaus immediately followed him into the room of their nine-week old daughter, Harper, who had stopped breathing. Paramedics were called and thankfully, Harper is currently safe and sound.

The loyal companion

As his owner was taken away in an ambulance after suffering from a seizure, this devoted dog was spotted running after the vehicle. He was seen weaving through the traffic while trying his best not to lose sight of the ambulance and his owner. Paramedics who were witnessing this act of loyalty decided to pick him up once they noticed the canine getting short of breath. In the ambulance, this pup stuck by his owner’s side, even while treatment was being performed.
